PreK On My Way

PreK On My Way comes with three websites made for educators to use with different audiences:

  1. For Teachers: Teacher Hub | https://digital.scholastic.com
  2. For Students: Little eReaders | https://littleereaders.prekonmyway.digital.scholastic.com/
  3. For Families: Family Exchange | https://prekonmywayfamily.scholastic.com/

1. END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

If your district or school doesn’t already have a signed End User License Agreement on file with Scholastic, your identified EULA contact will receive an email with instructions to sign in and accept the terms and conditions. This step is required before gaining access to your subscription.

2. TECHNICAL SET-UP

We recommend that any Technical Set-up is handled by a school or district Technical Administrator. Resources for Technical Administrators can be found here.

3. TEACHER HUB: SHARE ACCESS

Teachers will need to be invited to the organization to access the Scholastic subscriptions. Teachers can be added directly within Scholastic Digital Manager, or can be synced with integrations such as Google Classroom or Clever.

When you add teacher emails to Scholastic Digital Manager, they will be sent an email inviting them to join your organization and browse all of the available subscriptions. Teachers are then able to activate subscriptions when they first sign into or launch Scholastic Digital Manager. For more information, see resources for Teachers here.

For admins:

DISTRICT ADMINISTRATORS: District administrators always need to access their Scholastic account by signing in with their credentials at https://digital.scholastic.com. At this time, even districts connected through an integration such as Clever, ClassLink, LTI, etc., need to sign in using Scholastic Digital Manager.

SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS: You can access your digital subscriptions either by signed in with your Scholastic credentials at https://digital.scholastic.com or by launching Scholastic Digital Manager using a 3rd party integration. For more information about signing into Scholastic Digital Manager, see our Help Center.

4. LITTLE EREADERS: ACCESS

Your Technical Administrator has already configured your school's preferred access method. They will provide you with a URL for each of your subscriptions. These URLS can be saved as links on your school or district website for easy access!

Selecting your subscription link will do one of four things depending on how your school's access method is configured:

  • IP ADDRESS AUTHENTICATION: clicking on the subscription link will take your directly to your subscription if your current IP address matches the address(es) provided by your Tech Administrator.
  • USERNAME/PASSWORD AUTHENTICATION: clicking on the subscription link will prompt you to ender a username and password to access the product.
  • PROXY AUTHENTICATION: clicking on the subscription link will ask you to sign in with your organization's barcode and/or PIN.
  • REFERRING PAGE: clicking on the subscription link will take you directly to your subscription without need for any further action.
  • LIBRARY CARD RECOGNITION (LCR): clicking on the subscription link will prompt you to ender a library card number

PLEASE NOTE that the above access methods will be the same for your students. If you aren't certain of your access method, or if you don't know your subscription username and password, please reach out to your Technical Administrator.

5. FAMILY EXCHANGE: ACCESS

No setup is needed here. Families and caregivers at home have their own special website to use with students to reinforce what's learned in school. Access to this website is granted with one password, and the password is the answer to the question: "What is the name of the blue squirrel in PreK On My Way Family?"

This information is included in your onboarding materials. Students will also be provided with bracelets that have the website's URL and password printed on the outside, so that families can see them at home.

6. SCHOOL YEAR MANAGEMENT

If you are a district or school administrator, you can manage your district or building's school year calendar within Scholastic Digital Manager. Creating a school year calendar in SDM allows your district or school to roster classes and access Scholastic subscriptions based on your true school year, ensuring your (and your students') usage is not interrupted even as the school year changes.
