Teacher Dashboard

The Teacher Dashboard surfaces data, all in one place, from any of these Scholastic digital programs you have in your classroom: Scholastic F.I.R.S.T., Scholastic W.O.R.D., Scholastic Literacy Pro, and Next Step Guided Reading Assessment, K-6.

1. ACCESS

You can access your digital subscriptions either by signing in with your Scholastic credentials at https://digital.scholastic.com OR by launching Scholastic Digital Manager using a 3rd party integration. For more information about signing into Scholastic Digital Manager, see our Help Center.

2. SUBSCRIPTION ACTIVATION

You will receive an email from Scholastic inviting you to join your organization within Scholastic Digital Manager. Once you receive this invitation, you can log on to Scholastic Digital Manager at https://digital.scholastic.com OR by launching Scholastic Digital Manager using a 3rd party integration.

Once you have signed in to Scholastic Digital Manager, you can view all of your organization’s Scholastic subscriptions in the Available to You tab on your Home page. Choose which subscriptions you think best fit your classroom, based on the grade level and skills explored.

If you have not received an invitation to your organization, contact your school administrator to get started.

3. ROSTERING & STUDENT ACCESS

📗 Keep in mind that not all digital subscriptions require rostering.

🔑 Clever, ClassLink, or LTI (Canvas, Schoology, etc.) users: Your class rosters will sync automatically. If using an LTI service like Canvas or Schoology, you will need to direct your students to sign in before student accounts appear in your classes. Your students will be able to launch into Scholastic from within your learning management system portal.

🔑 Google Classroom users: If you access Scholastic Digital Manager using your Google Classroom account, you can also import your Google Classroom classes. To do so, sign in using your Google Classroom account, select MANAGE ACCESS, and click the Import button (Tips on Importing Google Classroom classes.) Students will then access Scholastic digital resources by selecting the Sign in with Google Classroom option at https://digital.scholastic.com.

🔑 Rostering Manually via Scholastic: Using Scholastic Digital Manager, you can roster classes and create Scholastic accounts for students. If your students used Scholastic programs last year, you can also search for their existing accounts and add them to your class.

1. Sign in with your Scholastic credentials at https://digital.scholastic.com

2. Select Manage Access

3. Select + Add a New Class and enter your class info

4. Follow the steps on screen to either add new students or search for existing students. Please note you cannot do both at the same time. We recommend first searching for possible existing student accounts and then adding new students if necessary.

5. Print and share student usernames and passwords.

6. For more information, please see our Help Center section on Adding & Editing Students in Scholastic Digital Manager

No matter your rostering method, you only need to roster your classes once. Once your classes are rostered, they will be able to access any student-facing program to which you’ve granted them access.
