Before implementation, please verify that your district or school meets Scholastic’s system requirements and that all required URLs have been added to your organization’s allowlist.
This helps ensure successful access for educators and students across all Scholastic Literacy digital experiences.

Ready4Reading is a teacher-rostered product on the Scholastic Education Platform.
Teachers must be rostered into the platform before accessing instructional content and classroom experiences.
Districts and schools can choose from several rostering and authentication options depending on their existing systems and implementation preferences.

🔑 SCHOLASTIC SYNC: (Automated District Rostering): Districts may securely roster teachers through automated district data integrations. Supported integration methods include:
- OneRoster API
- Secure CSV/SFTP data exchange
This option is recommended for districts that want centralized roster management and automated updates throughout the school year. Once your implementation is ready, a Scholastic onboarding specialist will assist your district with setup and validation.
🔑 CLEVER: Districts using Clever may roster users and provide Single Sign-On (SSO) access through Clever. With Clever integration, districts can:
- Sync roster data
- Manage classroom enrollments
- Allow teachers to sign in using Clever
Once your subscription is ready, Scholastic will provide onboarding guidance to help complete setup and validation.
🔑 CLASSLINK: Districts using ClassLink may roster users and enable Single Sign-On (SSO) access through ClassLink. With ClassLink integration, districts can:
- Sync teacher roster data
- Launch Scholastic products directly from ClassLink
Your district may need to authorize or refresh the Scholastic application within ClassLink during implementation. Scholastic onboarding support will assist with setup and validation.
🔑 ROSTERING MANUALLY WITH SCHOLASTIC: Districts and schools that do not use automated roster integrations may choose to manage rostering directly within Scholastic.
With this option, authorized school or district staff can add teachers as needed. This option is commonly used by smaller schools, private schools, and organizations without district rostering systems.
4. SUPPORTED SIGN-IN OPTIONS

Depending on your district’s configuration, educators may sign in using one or more of the following methods:
- Clever SSO
- ClassLink SSO
- Username/password credentials
The available sign-in methods for your organization will depend on your selected implementation and authentication setup.

Districts may also choose to provide access to Scholastic Literacy through district learning management systems (LMS), such as:
- Canvas
- Schoology
- Other LTI-compatible systems
Specific setup steps may vary depending on your LMS environment and authentication configuration.
Please work with your Scholastic onboarding representative for implementation guidance.
