FAQs

Will teachers and students use a new login page?

Yes. Beginning July 15, 2026, users accessing Scholastic digital programs may see a new sign-in experience as programs transition from Scholastic Digital Manager (SDM) to the new Scholastic Education Platform.

How users sign in will depend on how their school or district manages access. Some organizations may use:

  • Google
  • Clever
  • ClassLink
  • LMS integrations such as Canvas or Schoology
  • Classroom passwords or teacher-managed access for select products

Teachers and students should continue using the access method provided by their school or district.

What rostering options are supported?

The Scholastic Education Platform supports multiple rostering methods, including:

  • OneRoster API
  • OneRoster CSV (SFTP)
  • Google Classroom
  • Manual rostering or classroom setup for select products
  •

Available rostering options may vary by product and district implementation. For more information click here.

What sign-in and authentication methods are supported?

Supported sign-in methods may include:

  • Google Sign-In
  • ClassLink
  • Clever
  • LMS integrations (Canvas, Schoology, etc.)
  • Scholastic username/password access for select products
  • Classroom passwords for select teacher-managed products

Your school or district determines which sign-in methods are available for your organization.

Will all Scholastic digital programs move to the new platform?

Many Scholastic digital programs are transitioning to the new Scholastic Education Platform for Back-to-School 2026.

Some products may continue using simplified or product-specific access methods outside of the main platform experience based on how the product is designed or implemented. For more information click here.

Will schools or districts need to take action before Back-to-School 2026?

Some districts and schools may need to reconnect, refresh, or confirm existing rostering and sign-in integrations as part of the transition to the new platform.

This may include:

  • Reviewing roster data connections
  • Confirming Single Sign-On (SSO) setup
  • Updating LMS integrations
  • Confirming teacher and student access methods

I currently use Clever or ClassLink. Will access change?

Possibly. Access experiences may vary depending on:

  • which Scholastic programs your organization uses
  • whether your district uses rostering, SSO only, or both
  • how your district currently manages integrations

Some existing integrations may continue to work with minimal changes, while others may require updates or reconnection as part of the transition.Teachers should contact their school or district technology administrator if they are unsure how they will access programs for the upcoming school year.
